Tommie and Paul Holmes
Tommie and Paul Holmes decided to make provisions to leave a gift to Arkansas State University because they not only recognize what an important role A-State plays in the growth and development of the entire region, but as first-generation college graduates they also realize how valuable a college education is in so many ways. Arkansas State gave the Holmeses the ability to live, work and raise a family in a vibrant community that offers many amenities that other communities can't match. And by attending Arkansas State, they made lifelong friendships that are cherished every day. "We met at A-State and can't imagine how life had would have turned out had our paths not crossed that October day in 1970."
